Coached Run Session Timetable – included in the unlimited run sessions per year fee of £40 April to April (12 months) or £20 if you join after October (6 months) or £10 if you join in January (3 months)
The timetable and locations sometimes change depending if it’s summer or winter. In the summer we meet in Bramhall Park. In the winter we meet in the foyer of Bramhall Leisure Centre.
Coached Run sessions are Tuesday 6.30 pm/Wednesday evenings 6.30 pm + 7.30 pm and Friday morning 9.30 am.
Your first run session is free. All abilities and all levels of runner are welcome to join in any of our sessions. You don’t need to be a member of Bramhall Runners or any running club to join in with our training.
If you’re already a runner and have heard of “speedwork” or “interval” sessions and wondered what they involve – come along and try something different. If you would like to get faster at running, if you have a goal to complete a 5k, 10k, half marathon or marathon in a certain time, or would just like to feel stronger and fitter why not give one of these sessions a go?
Working out in the fresh air and braving the elements is invigorating, all our runners comment on how energised they feel after training in this way. You work harder because there is an element of competitiveness which also makes it great fun.
You will feel such a sense of achievement after one of these sessions as your heart rate will have been working so much harder without you even realising it!

Kids Run Club is aimed at children from the age of 6 (Yr 1 upwards) providing them with fitness and run coaching as a base for their own running or to become fitter for any other sport that they do. We also encourage kids to work towards taking part in kids Park Run or increasing their PB at Park Run and schools cross country. We have 2 – 3 different groups based on age and ability, offering a variety of training sessions that are fun and game based but also include the introduction to more formalised training which includes intervals, 2-5km continual running, hills, circuits and running drills.
We train throughout the year, with the winter sessions (Oct – March) for Age 8 upwards (year 4) and is tailored towards schools and club cross country.
Run Club is not a creche or After School Club, and is suited to children who are interested in running as part of a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Our Coaches and Run Leaders are all DBS checked. All groups train on the school field, however the older group will also run out from the school under guided supervision around the area and through Bramhall Park.
Sunday Morning Run
Various locations and times
Organised training runs and events – long runs from 9miles + currently gearing towards marathon and half marathon distances. Everyone welcome, the faster runners run out and then run back to meet the slower runners, so no one is left behind – often called ‘the sausage run’. Each week the route is posted on facebook Wednesday/Thursday prior to the Sunday run so you know what to expect.
There is also a ‘chipolata’ version of the long run for those wanting to go a slower and shorter distance. Great for those runners new to distance running, wanting to increase mileage or coming back from injury.
