Possibly the most iconic element of the Tour of Tameside, its runner against the landscape taking on the steep climb and steep descent – a guaranteed challenge for all ability levels, but what a sense of achievement you will get when crossing the finish line! –
Hell on the Fell begins alongside the glorious Walkerwood Reservoir leading onto Brushes Road, where runners will be directed on the 6 mile course heading towards Copley Fell, which is situated behind Copley Academy and Copley Active Leisure Centre which leads up to the Trigg Point. Once you have reached close to the top summit, you will make your descent carefully along with other runners towards the finish which is beside the leisure centre. – See more at: https://www.sportstoursinternational.co.uk/events/tour-of-tameside-hell-of-the-copley-fell-race/#sthash.U32yG8l5.dpuf
