A demanding 9km fell run, crossing woodlands, river and high moorland (1000ft of climb) in the picturesque Dane Valley, with a 3km Junior Race and Fun Run.
SENIOR RACE
Minimum age 16 (on race day). A fresh trout for every senior finisher – run for your supper !
Small prize and perpetual trophy for all category winners, first local and first team. Race limit 350 – pre-entry only. NO ENTRY ON THE DAY.
JUNIOR RACE
Official FRA race for 10-15 year olds (age on race day), plus fun run for all. Approx. 3km, with river crossing. Winners’ trophies (first boy and girl) and medal for every junior runner. Mini races for under 10s (info on the day).
TEAM TROPHY
Enter your club – or alternative team – for the team trophy. (Be sure to add your club or team membership details.) First 4 finishers to count. No extra charge to enter a team.
IMPORTANT: Do turn up well before the start of the race, allowing plenty of time for possible congestion on the roads into Wincle.
VILLAGE FETE
The village fête opens at 2pm, with stalls, refreshments and entertainment for all the family – so why not bring them along, too.
Fete entry fee, paid on the day: £1.00 per person (for all, runners or not!) over 12, children under 12 free.
